The negatives were small in that it had a tiny reception area which meant always queuing for anything, and the room was a bit dark and had no outlook, but hey! Who goes to Vegas to hang out in their room? The hotel was in a good position right on the strip and in the middle of it all. There was an Outback restaurant on the premises which was nice, a Dennys, and a Wallmart. There was a casino with a bar that was not expensive compared to other hotels, although the barman in the evening was extremely grumpy. The hotel was not expensive, had no hidden costs or resort fees and everything in our room was included in the price. There was a room to print out our boarding passes or to do anything else we might have wanted to use a computer for, and there were vending and ice machines. The pool was quite small and basic but it was clean and fine. It was clean and housekeeping did an excellent job. This is one of the smaller hotels in Vegas and if you want glamour then this isn't the place for you, however, that said it was a good enough room with plenty of storage for our clothes, a kitchenette with a coffee machine, coffee pods, creamer and sugar, microwave, fridge and water, toiletries in the bathroom, hairdryer and iron. This Ceremonial Proclamation, issued upon the request of our agency, recognizes that there is still much to do to protect the lives of transgender, gender non-conforming, and gender expansive people in our communities and in the state. Today, the WA State LGBTQ Commission shared the Ceremonial Proclamation for Transgender Day of Remembrance, signed by Governor Inslee. #equity #inclusion #belonging #BLM #professionaldevelopment #antiracism If, like me, you are on your journey to become a better ally of marginalized communities, especially allies of the Black community, please watch the film, it'll help you frame the work and have the words to explain why we need to passionately advocate for the liberation of communities of color in the USA. If you are strongly against the Black Lives Matter movement, if you are strongly against reparations, if you think the Black community's demands are "too much" or that the USA has "overcome racism", etc., PLEASE watch this movie. The film is on pretty much every streaming platform and I invite everyone to watch it. I had to pace myself in watching the film because it is intense. I just finished watching the documentary "Who We Are: A Chronicle of Racism in America." This film is one of the requirements for WA State employees as we continue to move the state to being an anti-racist state. We’re might be trying to explain it as simply as we can, but it’s a cutting-edge technology that came to life very recently!īefore OCR took over, the live casino games were mostly conducted with RFID-infused elements. Whenever a meaningful action takes place, OCR recognizes it and shows the result on your screen in real-time. A human dealer conducts the game as they’re supposed to in front of the camera. So, when we put everything together, we get a technology that can identify visual cues. “Optical” is somewhat synonymous with visual and we can translate “character recognition” as identifying something. It stands for Optical Character Recognition. The current paradigm of a live casino is completely based on OCR technology. You also get a $40 food voucher every day and that would be a satisfactory reward if they had any restaurants with good food, but they do not. That means you need to play through $21,000!!! And, for that you get their so-called VIP parking which is just a fenced off area on the sixth floor of their parking garage that isn't even close to the entrance. If you reach their top tier Elite status you will find that the rewards are sub par and instead of congratulating you for reaching their top level they continue to remind you that to remain at that level that you need to play at least 21,000 points in a one month period. If your liking for a casino with a good rewards program, then Redhawk is not the place you want to be. I know this from experience and when compared to Cache Creek or Thunder Valley, Red hawk is simply a third rate casino with bad food to boot. Redhawk is a sad place and with all the other casinos in the Sacramento area there is no reason to waste your time at a casino with the tightest slots around. I recommend going to other casinos if you want to have a good time and a better chance of walking out with more cash than you came with.
